Class Description
Combining Hatha yoga (a foundational practice with basic postures) with Vinyasa Yoga (a flowing sequence of movements) this class is ideal for those looking to improve flexibility, build strength and develop mindfulness all while moving at your own pace with intention and grace.
Class will start with gentle movements and stretching to warm up the joints and muscles. From there we will begin to move and flow linking postures (asanas) with breath. After a gentle cooldown class will end with breathwork and short guided meditation so you can leave feeling focused, refreshed and ready for the rest of your day.
Yoga mat, water bottle.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own props (blanket, yoga blocks, belt etc…)
Modifications will be offered and reminders to connect with prana (the breath) and drink water throughout class.
This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners, everyone welcome
Angela has been studying and practicing yoga for almost 30 years. Her studies and certifications have included Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Pre- Natal and Post-Natal Yoga, Guided Meditation and Pranayama Breathwork. She also teaches Contemporary Pilates and is a certified Pilates Instructor.
